Healthy Chocolate Breakfast Smoothie



Have you ever woken up in the morning and just craved some sort of sweet breakfast well have i got the healthy alternative for you. This recipe is super easy and quick to do so pefect for those mornings where you need to get out in a hurry. I have been extremely bad at the moment and given into all of my cravings woops but i plan to turn that all around. With this recipe i feel you can give into your cravings whilst still being healthy WHAT!! yes its possible. You can make this recipe at any time of the day and change it however you want to fit your taste buds.

What You Will Need:
1x Banana (Frozen)
Almond Milk
1 Tablespoon of cocoa powder
2x Tablespoon of Almond butter or Peanut butter
Chia seeds 1 Tablespoon or as much as you would like (optional)

Extremely simple all you will need to do is get a nutibullet blender or any kind of blender you may have. Put all your ingrediants into your blender and pour the almond milk in last. When pouring in the almond milk just put enough to cover the other ingrediants about a cup or less. Simply blend it up for a few seconds and bam you have yourself a delicious chocolate smoothie.

Some tips:
First off you do not have to use frozen bananas but i tried it the other day and its amazing. Having a frozen banana allows your drink to be cold and have a creamy texture to it i would definitly recommed this. If you have over ripe bananas at home simply cut them up into four pieces and place into a sealed clear bag then place in the freezer. This keeps the bananas freash so they don't over rippen.

Chia seeds are extremly good for you so putting them into your smoothie allows you to get a dose of it's goodess without even realising its in there. Like i mentioned above you don't have to put them in. I love using a brand of peanut butter called 'Mother Earth' which actually make a peanut butter with chia seeds already in it, perfect!!

If your worried about the cocoa powder here is a few tips. I often use a small table spoon of dark cocoa powder as i hear dark is better for you. 'Mother Nature' also make a chocolate peanut butter which is alot better for, as it allows you to get a small dose of chocolate without taking away the healthy aspect.

This smoothie is so versitile you can use almost anything you want. I just love how quick and easy it is to create killing your sweet tooth cravings without killing your weight.
